The main objective of Marwar
Muslim Educational & Welfare
Society, Jodhpur, is to remove
the educational backwardness of
the weaker sections of society,
especially that of the Muslim
Community of Marwar Region. By
the grace of Almighty Allah and
with your cooperation, the
sapling planted in the form of
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Muslim
Senior Secondary School has now
become almost a stout tree. We
must thank to the Almighy Allah
that more than 2000 boys and
girls of our community are
getting modern education up to
Senior Secondary level in three
streams i.e. Science, Commerce
and Arts. Realising the
importance of modern education
for Muslim girls and their role
in building a civilized society,
we have established a separate
school "Firoz Khan Memorial
Girls High School" for them.
It gives me pleasure to inform
you that the Muslim boys and
girls are now getting Urdu and
Deeniyat education along with
the modern education (Science,
Computer etc.) in our schools.
Besides, two centres of ITCs
(one exclusively for girls),
named after Maulana Abul Kalam
Azad, have been established so
that our children may get job
oriented education and earn
their livelihood. The Society is
not only stepping forward in
education but also in social
service. In this direction, Mai
Khadija Hospital has been
established to provide medical
facility to the people of lower
income group, irrespective of
caste, creed and religion. |
A Waqf property known as Chand Shah Takiya
Shopping Complex at the heart of the Jodhpur
city has been developed by the Society with
the help of Muslim Community. This shopping
complex is managed by the Society and may be
considered a great asset of the community.
The income from the shopping complex is
utilized in running all the educational
institutions managed by the Society. Our
endeavour is not only to promote education
in the weaker sections but also for
character building of our children with our
limited resources and with the help of our
qualified teaching staff. Though we are
facing a number of difficulties, hardships
and obstacles in achieving our targets, but
by the grace of Allah and with your
cooperation, we hold our feet with courage.
We hope to get your continuous support in
future also as in the past.
This has been observed that a significant
member of Muslim students have to
discontinue their studies because of the
financial hardship faced by their parents.
In view of this fact, the Society has taken
an initiative to start a Welfare Fund, named
as Marwar Muslim Students Welfare Fund, to
help the needy and deserving students. In
this respect, we request to all our
well-wishers to donate generously so that we
may cope up with the demand. You may send
the money of Zakat, Sadqat etc. through
Cheque/Demand Draft in favour of "Marwar
Muslim Students Welfare Fund" payable at
Jodhpur, either directly to the Bank Account
no………………. or to the General Secretary of Marwar Muslim Educational & Welfare Society,
Jodhpur (Rajasthan).
Though, we have made significant
achievements in establishing a number of
institutions, still we have to struggle hard
for coming up at par with other communities.
In this struggle, we seek your
encouragement, precious suggestions, advice
and cooperation in future also.
