In order to augument its income for meeting the increased demand of expenditure on different educational and welfare programmes, the Marwar Muslim Educational & Welfare Society has developed a huge shopping complex over a Wakf property in the heart of city Jodhpur. In the year 1987, the management of this complex was taken over by the Society. The same year, the Society developed this complex by investing Rs. 50 lacs. In 1997, the Rajasthan Board of Muslim Wakf appointed the Society as Muttawalli of this complex. All the institutions run by the Society are provided funds from the income of this complex. The annual income from the complex comes to be about Rs. 7.5 million. The Society has already chalked out a plan for its further development.
